Remote for Bravia TV controls compatible Sony Bravia TVs over the same local Wi-Fi network.
Quick checks
- Make sure the phone and TV are on the same non-guest Wi-Fi network.
- Turn on IP Control on the TV under Settings → Network → Home Network → IP Control.
- Keep the TV fully awake while pairing.
- If discovery does not find the TV, enter the IP address shown under Settings → Network → Network Status.
- For keyboard input, focus a text field on the TV before tapping Send to TV. YouTube and other custom TV keyboards may require a separate one-time pairing step inside the app.
Purchases
Use Settings → Restore Purchases after reinstalling the app or moving to another compatible device using the same Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions are managed and canceled in the store account that made the purchase.
Data deletion requests
The app does not create an account. Uninstalling it removes locally stored app data, subject to operating-system backups. To request deletion of purchase-service data associated with the app, email hi@joeyhipolito.dev with the subject Bravia Remote data deletion and include the Google Play order ID from the purchase receipt. Do not include payment-card details or TV pairing credentials. Store transaction records may still be retained when required for refunds, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal compliance.
Contact
Include the phone model, operating-system version, TV model, TV firmware version, and a short description when requesting help. Do not email pairing PINs, pre-shared keys, or authentication tokens.
