About Me

I'm a senior full-stack developer who builds clean systems, brews strong coffee, and leads by doing. Over the past 10+ years, I've specialized in solving real problems with thoughtful, maintainable code — especially in the fintech space where I currently lead frontend at TitanFX, modernizing trading platforms with Next.js and scalable design systems.

What gets me excited? Taking chaotic legacy systems and turning them into something elegant that just works. I've been that developer who discovered Docker in 2014 (when it was still rough around the edges) and built containerized mobile development environments for my college thesis. I've navigated the Wild West of early social media APIs, made IE8 play nice with modern JavaScript, and somehow made popup blockers cooperate across dozens of browsers.

These days, when I'm not architecting React applications or optimizing database queries, you'll find me mentoring developers, building internal tools to streamline team workflows, or diving deep into performance bottlenecks. I believe the best systems are the ones that quietly do their job well — and the best teams are built on trust, feedback, and shared ownership.

Outside of work, I'm a dad of two and a home espresso enthusiast (currently dialing in shots on my Flair 58+). I appreciate things that are well-crafted — whether it's software, coffee, or systems that just make sense.
